James began his legal journey in Brisbane, where he was born and raised. After studying law at the University of Queensland, he built a distinguished career, becoming a partner in a national law firm and later founding James Noble Family Law in 2003.

In 2017, he established James Noble Law with his son Charles, a firm founded on family values, modern innovation, and a genuine commitment to resolving legal matters with dignity and care.
